What is Vion Chat?+
A messaging app for conversations, groups, channels, files and voice messages. It can run in an independent environment on a dedicated community or organization server.
Do I need to register to browse the website?+
This information website has no account registration page. Chatting in the app requires an account in an environment according to its operator’s settings.
What does an independent server mean?+
A dedicated deployment of Vion Chat with its own database and administration. Hosting location, maintenance, backups and data access responsibilities are defined in the agreement.
Are prices and specifications fixed?+
No. The proposal depends on active members, files, storage, backups and support. These options help define needs; they are not ready-made paid subscriptions.
Are conversations end-to-end encrypted?+
We do not claim that the current version provides end-to-end encryption. Independent hosting does not mean the server operator cannot access data. Review the policy of the environment you use.
How do I prepare a request for my environment?+
Choose a server option and requirements to create a summary you can copy or download. Send it to the Vion Chat team using an agreed contact channel. Creating the summary does not send a request or create a server.
